The textbook, General Business Anthropology takes the budding business anthropologist from the basic concepts of anthropology and business and welds them together into a very comprehensive science. The book is very scholarly and detailed. It would be a great text for any business anthropology class. |
The text makes good use of case studies. It guides students through many concepts and helps to put a new and burgeoning science into "real world" usage.
And one added plus, your old Redneck MBA wrote one of the case studies in the book. Look for the case study on the Pat-A-Cake Grill.

My policy on book reviews is to give you my honest opinion of the book. From time to time publishers will give me a copy of their book for free for the purpose of me reading the book and writing a review. The publishers understand when they give me the book that I am under no obligation to write a positive review.
